How to find your HIN number

HIN refers to your Holder Identification Number. It is a unique number that identifies you as a CHESS Sponsored Shareholder with a broker.

A HIN number is 10 digits preceding with letter “X”, however, some brokers may not display your HIN in this format.

If you are looking for your Webull HIN, you can find it at three locations:

(1) on a trade confirmation,

(2) on the app under manage brokerage account or

(3) on a CHESS statement.
